The game against PSG will be different. I hope that lesson is learned.

P.S. Message from closed topic as a review: I think you're too serious about this game. It was only first friendly this season, and it's good wake up call for us. Last year Chelsea lost to Werder Bremen 3:0, and our game was terrible (Werder is stronger than NY, but it wasn't our first match of the season).

Continued from pre-match thread:

Yes it WAS our first team mate. The players you mentioned almost all of them are our first team players. And really, there should be no excuse. Don't find a way to make an excuse for that terrible performance against 16 year olds.

first team

costa

hazard oscar wilian

matic fabregas

azpi cahil terry ivanovic

we played too many youth and loanese we have alot of player but none are quality we need signings to shake things up a bit..

Welcome to Chelsea, Asmir!

That looked more like a friendly played just after a long, grueling season had ended and the players are knackered. You'd expect the boys to be fresh and sharp.

Embarrassed by what was apparently an MLS under 21 side. The talent of our players alone should blow them off the pitch.

José will have our guys ready come Swansea, of that I have no doubt. But man, if our defense plays anything like that when the season starts I'll be dreading Man City in week 2.

We need at least two more signings (Stones, a CM) and possibly three (Pedro).

Surprised for the result? Yes. Surprised for the performance in the second half? Absolutely not, is the same that we have seen when we played with a midfield like that. Cero control, totally frenzy, Rambo running like a headless chicken. The same that we already suffer the last season in the big games when we used this pivot. And now is clear that not even against a child team we can control a game with them..

I just dont know what to say. Hard to justify it.

Tbh, one good thing is that hopefully our players will wake up by the time community shield comes up. Don't wanna lose to those bastards, don't care if it's even the Madagascar international friendly cup.
