The Daily Star and The Mirror are today both reporting that Chelsea manager José Mourinho has made a £20 million bid for Real Madrid star Isco. Using this bonus code for bet365 you can find odds on him playing for Chelsea next season.

The young Spaniard, who moved to the European giants from Malaga shortly after the Special One returned to Stamford Bridge, is attracting attention from the West London outfit, and rivals Manchester City.

Isco, 23, received a fair amount of flack for his performances at the Bernabeu last season, but aside from minor grumblings - overall, he is happy with his role in the team.

But Madrid boss Rafa Benitez sees him as part of his plans and does not want to let him leave this summer, and has promptly snubbed the Blues' £20 million offer.

In other transfer news, Chelsea have been linked with Mario Gotze, whose agent slammed Bayern Munich’s management team this week. The World Cup star could move for as much as £50 million this summer after failing to secure a starting berth in the Bayern side last season after the arrival of Xabi Alonso.

Meanwhile, Chelsea youngster Izzy Brown is poised for a loan move to Vitesse Arnhem. The forward made his Premier League debut for the Blues in the 3-0 loss at West Brom in May
