Chelsea have today confirmed a season-long loan deal for Radamel Falcao.

The Colombian, who teams up with international colleague Juan Cuadrado and former Atletico Madrid team-mates Thibaut Courtois, Filipe Luis and Diego Costa, will link up with Jose Mourinho’s squad for the 2015/16 campaign and said: 'I am very happy to be joining Chelsea and can't wait to start training and help with our aim of retaining the league title and being successful in Europe'.

Falcao less than impressed in a loan stint at Manchester United last term, but Blues boss José Mourinho believes he can get the best out of the once-deadly striker.

'If I can help Falcao reach his level again, I will do it', said Mourinho.

The Colombian hit-man scored a terrific hat-trick against Chelsea in the 2012 UEFA Super Cup, and almost came back to haunt Blues fans once again when he hit the post with a fierce drive in April's 1-0 defeat of Manchester United.

Mario Pasalic will spend the 2015/16 season on loan at Monaco as part of the agreement.

Everybody at TalkChelsea wishes Radamel the best of luck for the coming season. Come on Chelsea!
