I really hope we get him. Watching him im Arsenals pre-season friendly the other day albeit against a poor side, he really impressed me. I can see him fitting into our side in the right wingback position. Tonnes of pace and good ability, he definitely has the tools for Conte to work with. It would be an upgrade on Moses in my book.

I wonder like Moses does he really want to play wb and i'm pretty sure Moses would like to play more of a winger  , think we really should be looking at a specialist if we our going that way forward and trying to improve the team?!

For sure, But a club this big should never change to accomodate a playeer like Moses. Moses would play more as a winger but he is incredibly toothless in front of goal. His most important attributes are his pace and his stamina. Wingback is actually the only position he is decent enough to play despite his obvious limitations.

Yeah agree chum in most points, still would like to see him given more chances as winger(the benitez season cough cough he showed alot of potential )  and hopefully we get another rwb/lwb to lighten his load.

Pretty sure Moses is perfectly happy to just be playing every game at a club of Chelsea's level and being a key member of a title winning squad for the first time in his career. During his loans at West Ham, Stoke and Liverpool he played as a winger but couldn't cut it even for midtable sides and ended up starting less than half the games without much success. Maybe he would 'like to play more as a winger' only it would not be at Chelsea but re-inventing himself as a wing-back under Conte has really made him stand out.

The way I see it Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could well do the same. He's been a decent squad player and not much more at Arsenal when playing CM or AM, but towards the end of last season he showed some real promise at wing-back and much like Moses it could be a position to suit his qualities better than any other.

Moses has always shown flashes of potential on the wing (at both Crystal Palace and Wigan)...but unfortunately, he was never able to add decent finishing to his skill set.

They won't sell to us and we will end up with Adama Traore.

We should have just saved our money and kept Bertrand Traore (he knows how to score goals and he would have been a nice winger/striker option off the bench this season)

Of the 3 english players linked (Ox, Drinkwater, Barkley) i prefer Ox the most. He is the most physical and has great speed. He could be an excellent RWB like moses, but on steroids essentially. i view him as an upgrade in pretty much every sense to Moses, he is faster, stronger, better ball skills, better passing range. Conte could work wonders with him and I would be happy with those 2 HG options at RWB with Azpi cover. for 25m i think he could help our team.

I am not sure, if the Ox is really faster and stronger than Moses. At full speed, Moses reaches 35km/h which makes him one of the faster players in the Prem. And strength-wise they look about similar. But certainly the Ox is way better with the ball (albeit equally ineffective in front of goal). To sum up, he would be an upgrade but not much of an upgrade. That being sad, Arsene hates and fears us too much to sell any player to us. The only way this goes through is if AOC forces the move which he will not do.

Yes I remember, Moses had a great run in the cups.

Only scored one goal in 23 league games that season though, so maybe the level of opposition had something to do with that goal tally.

Would Bertie have accepted that role though?
