If that´s the case, then I´d like to offer my apology, I was wrong.

no need to apologize dude.

i am pretty sure. he was not named in our CL squad, we had to fill in the "homegrown" spots and hence he was sacrificed.

Essien is on his way to AC Milan apparently...

The Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien, in lack of playing time, could engage in the coming hours with AC Milan. Galatasaray is also in the running, but the Ghana international would prefer to find the Serie A pace before the World Cup.

he reportedly earns 4mil per year.

i would say that milan offers him 2mil per year.

so thats we would have to pay about 3mil to him to buy out his contract (1mil difference for this half season and 2 mil for the next one).

if we get 3-5mil for him out of milan then we can break even.

NOT A BAD BIT OF BUSINESS!!!!
