How many times have we heard that Mou loves a certain player and would never drop him only for him to go and do just that?

Cahills a good player, but if we sign Varane then he's relegated to squad player.

I don't remember Jose doing that to certain player who has performed well and having good attitude. Unless that player starting to stab him behind his back, criticized his tactic, or leaking some important info to his wife who happened to be a reporter

Again I would love to have a future CB in Varane, but I don't see any sign or any reason Jose will think he need to drop Cahill anytime soon. Unless you think if Varane coming, we will sell Cahill or Zouma which is even more unlikely imo. As I have said in my previous post, with JT still around and performs like a beast, I don't think we need 3 other CB fighting for one spot.

If JT contract expired or he is retired, now that will be a right time to sign someone like Varane imo. For next season with JT, Cahill and Zouma, we just need to add one more backup CB like Kalas or Omeruo or Christensen or maybe Ake.
