Verratti was really really good but in both legs he got away with a hell of a lot before seeing yellow in quite a few people's opinions he shouldn't have even been playing the second leg. Saying that, players of his quality only come around once every couple generations.

Verratti is a brilliant player, prefer him instead of Pogba.
In contrast to Pogba he is the better defender and playmaker for me, suits much better in our system.

That's the most important thing. I believe Pogba would fit into our system but I can't see Veratti's space in the team. He can do his best in 4-3-3 just like Ramires.

As in he's a workhorse who defends well and is pretty good going forward. Add the fact the whole world thinks we're cunts, he'd fit right in.
