You do realise that Freddy Got Fingered is almost universally considered one of the worst films ever created? I think if I saw it, I'd enjoy it because of how bad it is. I do love terrible, terrible B-Films.

The only thing I hate about AMX is how when he is in prison all it takes is a funny wise-cracking black guy to get over his extreme racism. I mean he killed several black men in an incredibly brutal fashion and all takes is a few jokes? Please.

Well, the first movie is based on a novel while the second one was written directly to screen. It's not like Kill Bill vol 1 and 2. It's highly recommended to watch the first one before the second but they can be enjoyed separatedly. Both of them are 10/10 for me but I think the second one is slightly better. The part I is a gangster movie, the part II is more like a drama.

Derek became depressed in the prison and slowly he realised how pathetic those nazis are and he had been just like them. The black guy in the prison was funny but this is unimportant. He didn't prejudge Derek and treated him as a person.. Derek was vurnelable in the prison but that guy didn't kick hin but helped him. Derek slowly realised that the laundry guy is a much better person than his so called friends and the way he was thinking for years is ridiculous. It was a slow process.

I think it is necessary to watch the Godfather one and two. They are an arc of the evolution of Michael Corleone from war veteran to cold-hearted mob boss. Without seeing the first, the viewer doesn't get to see mild and somewhat timid Michael transform into an empty albeir powerful man.

Not the best movies of all time probably, I don't have any one single standout, but thought I'd give a mention to a few films I think will go unnoticed here. They have stuck to my memory for different reasons.

Seven Pounds and The Pursuit of Happyness.

Masterful performances from Will Smith in both. Strong and emotional plots, especially Happyness being based on true story.

Requiem for a Dream

Tragic endings give me unhealthy enjoyment

Best documentary: The Bridge

A documentary that hit me hard.
