Champions League winner Ryan Bertrand has left Chelsea following a deadline day transfer to Southampton.

The 25-year-old full-back initially joined the Saints on loan last summer, and has played regularly with the south coast club, where he has made 27 appearances so far.
Bertrand, a Chelsea Academy product, made his debut in April 2011 and just over a year later lifted the Champions League on his first European outing for the club. He remains the only player ever to make his European bow in the final of the competition.
In total, Bertrand made 57 Chelsea appearances, scoring two goals.
Meanwhile it has been confirmed that Juan Cuadrado will wear the number 23 shirt vacated by Mark Schwarzer.
