This squad looks like it will be more exciting to watch, but with the 2004/05 squadand its defensive strength, I was more confident of winning any match.

04/05 was less afraid to play ugly football and grind wins but I much prefer the current squad because they're amazing to watch.

If we had the Drogba of then I think it'd be a no brainer. Oh, and Lamps too...I think my dream Chelsea team would be complete.

The current squad is more amazing to watch, but have to wait to see how it progresses and what manages to get. The 2004/05 was not as flashy but it was a tank; organized, rocky, competitive, a team you had the feeling that no one could beat him. To this day I do not understand how not win a Champions League (Or maybe yes, a fucking phantom goal).

For me it must come down to the eating of the puddings; 04/05 2, 14/15 0 (to date), so I dismiss the claims of the current squad. They are welcome to reapply for consideration once they've actually won something.
