Kompany is overrated

Neuer will go down as the best gk of all time

Zola doesn't get anywhere near the credit he deserves

Messi is the best of all time regardless if he wins the wc or not

Jose Mourinho will retire w/ at least 6 cl trophies to his name

Agree with all of them except the 4th one. Messi is definitely the best player I will see in my lifetime, he's like nothing I've ever seen. Go watch him at Camp Nou, I did, it was one of the best experiences of my life.

Controversial opinion: supporting another country is absolutely cringeworthy

Bergkamp is overrated

Totti shouldn't have stayed at Roma his entire career

Gotze is a good player but nothing special

Kroos is also nothing special

Suarez and Neymar will out-perform Messi this season, which will lead to Barca cashing in on Messi next summer...

Went to the El Classico. Definitely one of my best experiences, ever. Loved it (is it bad to say I liked it more than most Chelsea games I've been to? :( ) Barcelona won 5-0 that day. Everyone was ecstatic, my and my dad (I travel with him from time to time) and a few friends were celebrating like mad, I was even chanting songs I didn't know the meaning to  Villa, Pedro, Jeffren Suarez and Xavi all scored that day. Well worth the 800 euros we paid for all of us to get in

Oh yeah I remember. the 2010-2011 ssn, what a wonderful performance from Barca, Messi ran the show. I notably remember him splitting the defence w/ a 30yd pass for David Villa to score & him chipping the ball over Casillias and hitting the far post from a ridiculous angle on the right.

Must've been surreal to witness that.

Anyway, back on topic: the best & most consistent performer on the international stage from England's "golden generation" was Ashley Cole.

Joe Cole had it all to be an English great but injuries ruined him.

Being forced to play wide to accommodate Lampard in his natural attacking midfielder role also didn't help.

Owen Hargreves as well had everything to be a great.
