What a game. Hazard and Oscar were magnificent throughout the match and then there was that one moment of magic between Cesc and Costa. Atkinson very early lost the plot reffing the game but at least he was consistent by deciding not to send off Cahill, Koscielny, Chambers, Welbeck and Wenger who all deserved to be given their marching orders.

Five point lead going into the international break, couldn't possibly ask for more really.

How to pick between Hazard and Oscar?!!

One produces the magic, while the other, industry. One was responsible for the flair, while the other, our volume of play. One is a unplayable dribbler, while the other is an unplayable rounded mid.

Watching the game it just hit me: Arsenal wouldn't sign Fabregas because they've already got like 5 Fabregases (sic:)) in their midfield. Of course none is as good as the original, but they are the same player in characteristics. That's why they can't play wide, they can't beat players in dribbling, and they can't defend.

They have no Hazard, and they have no Oscar. Yes, they also don't have Costa, but we did not have Costa last season and were still a lot better than they.

Not even going into Flamini vs Matic - really no contest...

Wenger is a top manager (at least paid as one) and still doesn't see the obvious. It is really puzzling to me.

What a performance. Most importantly we attacked when needed, we defended solidly when needed. Barely troubled defensively. Hustle and harried the arsenal mid and forwards. A Complete performance.

Courtois- except for a cross and coming off his line to gather tje ball, he dint have anything to do. Hope he is well

Iva- defensively, a wonderful performance. Stuck with sanchez through out the match. Never let him settlr on the ball. In offense his decision making let hin down twice specially when he could have freed oscar on the wing, rather ended up loosing the ball and taking a yellow.

Gc- flawless though i still don't know why he lunged into sanchez the way he did. Except for that solid.

Jt- CLL. enough said.

Azpi- brilliant performance. Maybe luis is better but if someone reads then pre- match thread after seeing the teams, u would think that we were playing bloody gibbs as a LB.

Matic - BEAST. his positional play is just brilliant. Bullied cazorla and was always there to provide cover incasr of a mistake

Cesc - ran the game in the first half. Was everwhere.tackling, pressing, winning the ball. And what a ball for the goal.

Hazard - the exact moment of magic that was required to turn the game on its head. What a run. Simply brilliant. Had chambers in his pocket .owned the young guy.

Oscar - MOTM. WHAT A BRILLIANT PERFORMANCE. how many clearances, tackles and interceptions did he have in our own 3rd. Unreal. Just fabulous from oscar. Linked up well in attack but the sheer running, will and workrate was a beauty to watch.

Schurrle- poor decision making. Losing the ball (to his credit he usually got it back). He was in the team as a goal scorer but arsenal dint give us much spave to run in. Willian would have been perfect.

Costa- seemed subdued. Not tired but just was not hos best day and still he got a goal.

Subs-

Cech- comfortable but can someone tell me what exactly he was doing when he let welbeck close hin down!!! Anyways a good performance.

Mikel- does what he does best. I would have loved to asl TOPTB if mikel is still in the team simply cos he needs to get his passport or something. Like the commentator said, if ww are 1-0/2-0 up, its a mandatory substitution to have nikel to close the game.

Lastly, still can't believe people said that koslolny was WC. I mean the 2nd goal was a normal long ball with 2v1 against costa. That turning into a goal is poor defending.

Everyone showed up today and were 100% in it (except for Schurrle maybe).. it's impossible to choose 1 MOTM but I'll be satisfied with a complete team effort like that in every match.

Oscar did foul an awful lot. I would give man of the match to either Brana for bossing that flank or Hazard for being absolutely next class. Probably Cesc in with a shout too.
