1. the summer signings have been absolutely fabulous so far. saying that costa has hit the ground running would be wrong cos he is simply FLYING. he fits us like a glove. has a mean streak, a penchant for goals and is perfect for us. cesc has been great. not a fan of his because of his antics against ballack and lampard. but nonetheless, he has done exactly what he was bought for, making our transition from defence to attack faster and smoother as well as provide another dimension of attack than just be reliant on hazard. filipe luis has been great in the limited time he has played, but no doubt he will be good too. i think he will start against villa.

i am a huge DD fan. but after watching him play a couple of times that he has, even i have to say that its the wrong decision. someone like BA would have been a much better option. but hopefully i am proved wrong.

2. Definitely. unless city go on a 33 match unbeaten streak, i expect nothing other than winning the PL this season.

3.Balance. we still dont know our best starting 11. their are untouchables like costa, hazard, cesc, matic, jt, gc, courtois, but our RW position is up for grabs. schurrle and willian are as different as night and day and provide something very different. for the 3rd CM, its a fight between rambo and oscar, another pair that is very different and provide different things. is 4-2-3-1 our best formation or is it 4-3-3? moreover we have kept one clean sheet so far and have not been able to find the right balance between defence and attack in my opinion

4. GC divides opinion the way only GC can. i feel he is a very solid and underrated CB. no doubt he has his faults but which CB except for kompany, silva, benatia dont? his problem is known which is backing off when strikers are running at him, but except for that, he is very good. brilliant in air, good on the ball, and a beast in the box. their are very few defenders in the world who can defend the box as well as he can. and almost one of the best in the last ditch tackles.

5.PL title atleast for this season. the last PL we won was in 2009-10. a club like chelsea should not be going 5 years without a PL. moreover, CL is a lot about luck and draws, whereas there is next to nothing of that factor over the course of 38 games.

6.best - fernando - 12mil for a player of fernando's calibre is a steal. absolute BEAST.

worst - ummm,,, shaw i think. 30 odd mil pounds for a 19 year old LB is well weird. dont think he would be worth half off it.

7. villa have been good this season so far. they have been solid at the back, something which was not the case for the last couple of seasons. but that is what happens when you play too much youth. a backline should have experience and its showing why. except for those 3 minutes against the arses, villa have been really good. agbanlahor, weimaan and richardson make up for a very very quick front 3 and something which will bother our slow defence. also when benteke comes back, it will be real good for villa.

8. benteke as a second striker. he has quality, is a natural goal scorer and is technically sound.

9. hazard. he would likely take on hutton unless he is doubled over by weimann or one of the midfielders, thus creating space for other players to run and operate into.

10. a hard match. a 2-1/3-1 win for chelsea.

1. Couldn't have gone better. What cost us last season was a lack of goals and the inability to unlock a defence. Costa and Fabregas seem to have sorted that, and how!! Replacing Torres, Ba and Eto'o with Costa, Remy and Drogba is an upgrade and a half. Regarding Didier, i would rather have left his last touch as THAT penalty in Munich. As a player, he hasn't really hit the same notes as he did in his first spell so far but then we didn't expect that at 36. The dury is still out on that one.

2. Yes.... 100%. But, the key for me is Costa. If he gets injured or has a loss of form it could be curtains. I think he is that important to us. If he stays fit and in form, I think we could walk it!!

3. Our defence, an area of the pitch we are usually so strong has been strangely suspect this season. I can't put my finger on why. I would say RB is our weakest position. Ivanovic get's caught out of position too often. A lot of the goals we concede come down that right side.

4. I find the general opinion on Cahill is good. I think he is a fantastic defender. He is in the John Terry mould. Last ditch tackles, good in the air, fantastic blocks. He just loves defending.

5. Premier League. Being the best over 38 games is a fantastic achievement. Without wanting to sound all high and mighty, we have won the Champions League now and it has lost a little of its 'razz matazz' that it had before we won it for me. That's not to say I wouldn't want the Champions League, but if I had to choose. The Premier League.

6. Best - I would say Costa for Chelsea... but non Chelsea i think Sanchez for Arsenal. A fantastic player and for 30 million they got him at what I feel is a decent price.

Worst - Shaw for United. 33 million for an inexperienced 19yo. Ridiculous.

7. Very good. Much improved. The young team have matured after a couple of difficult seasons and the future seems bright. Guzman, Vlaar, Delph and Benteke you have a solid spine. With Weimann (who I think is a fantastic player) and Agbonlahor upfront with Benteke you have great pace and power. Defensively however, I think you can be got at, especially against top class opposition.

8. Benteke. Top class goalscorer, we haven't seen many of them at Chelsea in recent years.

9. Costa. 7 goals in 5 games. Brimming with confidence and in lethal form.

10. A hard fought 2-0 Chelsea win. 0-0 at half time but the extra quality going forward will tell.

1. Yes happy, it would have been ideal for a CB to come in, but our main 3 problems last season were fixed with 3 off the best in their positions, even the most pessimistic have to be delighted by that, and no, it isn't even about his last kick being Munich any more, he just hasn't been very good since 2010.

2. Yes I felt despite some glaring defenciecies last season we could have won due to Mourinho and nearly did, the next two games at home are vital, 6 points and City dropping a couple with two away games would be ideal.

3. If we carry on with the attacking game we have so far bar against City then the CB, playing high doesn't bring out the best in Terry or Cahill and the latter is quite reactive and weak one on one. If we play more defensive then our AMs decision making bar Hazard leaves a lot to be desired, that hurt us last season when we needed to make the most of every attack.

4. Gary is what he is, he has his qualities but also glaring weaknesses, his tendancy to back off players has me screaming, he is partial to falling for dummy's aswell. His strong points is he us strong with last ditch tackling and commitment to the cause is second to none, play him in a compact system he is fine, if were looking to be more expansive then he should be no more than a squad player, always gives 100 percent so deserves respect fir that.

5. Premier League every single time. I said that before we won the CL aswell, league is the bread and butter.

6. The best is between Diego and ADM, the worst for me is Rojo, he's not very good and he's expected to be the main centre half for United this season.

7. Unpredictable team, sometimes when I watch you play at home to a rival in the table especially you play rubbish and the games really drab, like your recent game vs Toon, but away from home especially you have games were you seem to just come to life, especially on the counter, your game at Anfield for example, you should have been 4 up at half time.

8. Benteke or Wiemann.

9.Hazard, if he clicks the team does, it's as simple as that.

10. Villa at home is the hardest fixture to predict, you seem to take points off us or we batter you, we never know what Villa we will get, put it this way, if someone says to me that one if the Villa or Arsenal games coming up will result in dropped points, im almost sure it will be this game.

A reasonably good window but we need another one which is at least as good to get where I'd like us to be. There are holes in this squad.

I would not have have brought Didier back.

I had you as favourites before the season started, and nothing I have seen so far suggests that my prediction will be wrong. Do you believe you have what it takes to win the Premiership?

We are not playing as well as our results would have you believe. We are certainly not title favourites in my book.

We were second best for spells against Leicester, Swansea, Everton and even Burnley. Sometimes long spells. We defended well at City but did not execute the rest of the game plan at all well. Our passing was poor throughout so our counter attacking threat was almost non existent. Jose being Jose, we nearly got the points anyway but it was far from a great performance.

What is your weak link?

Just one? I wish.

I personally don't believe Gary Cahill is good enough for a team like Chelsea. What are the feelings amongst the Chelsea faithful?

I'd say most are happy with him but we recognise the need to bolster our CB options. We're probably more focused on the idea that JT can't go on forever.

Premier League all day, every day. Not even close to being close.

Who do you consider to be the best and worst signings in the Premier League this summer?

Can't really say I've watched enough football to have any clue about this. Tadic looks good so far but players do sometimes shine brightly at first.

What are your thoughts on Aston Villa?

I'm as surprised as I think you might be that you've started so well without Benteke.

Which player should Aston Villa fear this weekend and why?

His stats may not suggest it, but Eden hazard has been just brilliant so far. He's been close to the top of his game and if this continues he'll be a handful.

What is your match prediction?

A 1 goal victory margin for Chelsea.
