imo the term world class is thrown around FAR too often.. Reus is not world class, Hazard is not world class, Jovetic is not world class, and Cavani is not world class.

Boateng was as good as Hummels in the WC. Zlatan, Falcao and Lewa are 3 of the top 10 forwards in the world, the6 may round out the top 5 with Messi and Suarez.

He was as good as him in the WC, doesn't make him as good as Hummels overall. Arshavin had a great world cup a few years back, look at him now.

I don't think you can consider every one of the top. 10 forwards in the world class, just great. For example, Higuain is one of the best strikers in Italy, doesn't make him world class

I am only really qualified to speak about goalkeepers in this position, so the only world-class goalkeepers at the moment are Cech, Courtois, Buffon and Neuer. No-one else comes close.

You must count Iker in that list, maybe he didn't had a perfect last season, but he wasn't bad either.

How is Reus not world class? Define world class...

Players who perform consistently, 9 games out of 10 at a high level. I'd say there are probably currently only 6/7 in the world who truly do that, but endless amounts who have the potential to be world class.

'World class' is thrown about far too much though, its almost an expectation of fans for most clubs. If you look at someone like Ramires, who will never be 'world class' but more often than not, his contribution to the team is vital to win a game. I think thats what we have in abundance.

Silva is at his peak right now and had been quite good ever since he signed for City. Hazard, on the other hand, is slowly rising to his peak and even at this stage Hazard and Silva are at par with each other and both are world-class right now.

Hazard will attain Robaldo/Messi level in the next few season but don't see Silva getting near that status.

Really there are a lot of world class playes, Messi and Ronaldo are a level ABOVE THAT. Whatever that is.

Reus is world class.
