Chelsea are set to sign Milan goalkeeper Diego Lopez as soon as Asmir Begovic is sold.

According to Gazzamercato.it, the deal is done for the 34-year-old shot-stopper.

A former Real Madrid ‘keeper, Diego Lopez was dropped to the bench last season with the emergence of prodigious teenager Gianluigi Donnarumma.

However, Chelsea will only complete the swoop once Begovic has been sold, most likely to Everton.
