The FA has announced that Chelsea striker Diego Costa has been charged by for violent conduct following an on-field incident which was not seen by the match officials but caught on video.

The player has until 6pm on Thursday to respond to the charge.

Following a review of an incident during the game involving Costa and Liverpool's Martin Skrtel, The FA will not be taking any further action.

Thought he couldn't appeal?

Many drama queens in the press, many retired players who have much need to be famous again, and many fans who hate us, they are already making a pathetic campaign for us to feel ashamed by Diego. Poor them.

Jose Diego's like, if you do not have him on your team, you hate him passionately. But if you would have him on your team, you love him passionately. And I'm very happy to love passionately Diego and Jose. It is love and pride what they produce me.

Diego is one of the US.

Football, as Rugby, is a sport of honesty and nobleness. First fight on the pitch and after the matches shake hands with rivals.

That`s Football, That's Diego.

Christ, how can anyone argue with the charge or say it wasn't intentional.

Ridiculous.

Your turn Remy.

Can you prove it was intentional? The replays are far from conclusive. Unless you're just swallowing what the media and "pundits" feed you.

So it's impossible to prove therefore he didn't intend to? People are asking to prove it was intentional, well why don't you and the others try to prove that it wasn't intentional.

Because there was nothing on the field. No ruling made. They're finding something out of nothing.

The FA plays by it's own rules. They hand out decisions and throw the burden of proof on the defendants to exonerate themselves. Work in a completely opposite manner as the justice system.

So, the FA doesn't have to prove it was intentional, rather we have to prove that it was unintentional.

Well under any standard justice system, you're not guilty unless proven to be so. However as mentioned, we all know the FA are a bunch of cunts - doesn't matter now anyways :).
