I think Jason is secretly rooting for us south americans, the images in both topics are from Brazil's and Argentina's winning goals :halo:

Be careful, cause the mighty Russian guy from Glee might find this to be too much ass licking! :Goober:

Some people really believe FIFA is giving the trophy to Brazil.

Embarrassing.

That's just embarrassing, but the arrogance to appeal that yellow is remarkable. How in the pocket does the Brazilian FA think they have FIFA that there's even a chance of this happening?

More like trying their chances. Embarassing as it is, Uruguayan Federation appealed for Luis Suárez too. It doesn't mean they think FIFA is in their pockets.

Teams like Germany will definitely struggle with non-European opponents and they have shown this throughout the tournament. They'd find it especially hard to play the South Americans and more importantly the hosts of this tournament. They have already shown their difficulty in beating non European sides such as Ghana or Algeria. But IMO, Brazil have got this even though Thiago Silva and Neymar are out.

if germany "struggled" against algeria then how would one describe brazil's performances thruout the tournament.

One big long struggle where they happened to get beneficial calls?

Chile were a great team though, one class above Colombia.

Unlucky to find themselves playing against Brazil in the stage of 16 and unlucky to go out as well.

They both have; it's not mutually exclusive.

Germany have been effiecient, strangulating the opponents. The heat and home support will make it tough for them, but really, they should have no excuses. If they fuck it up this time, they'll rightly be branded chokers. I hope they win, I have a soft spot for them ever since the Saudi Arabia game in 2002 - it is my earliest WC memory.

I just hope we get to talk about a good football match, not refereeing.
