James is one of the best players the reason he doesn't play is because Zidane doesn't like him.

As mentioned in this thread, many Madrid "rejects" are still world class players. They just get bored of them like an old rich man gets tired of a girl and moves on to the next one. Robben, Di Maria, Özil, Higuain, etc have all left and been world class for their new clubs.

James is one of those players that's a statement of intent signing. We've been crying out for another attacking midfielder that can be as good as Hazard so we aren't so reliant on him and here he is. He can definitely be had if a big offer goes in. This is a fantastic opportunity that probably won't ever come and again. None of the other big clubs need him since they already have top #10's so we'd basically have a free run at him.

If we aren't going to sign another striker, signing a midfielder who can score a bunch is the next best thing.

Yeah, because the likes of Özil or Sanchez are so shit.

Just because Barca or Real don't need some player doesn't mean they're not good enough to start at a top club.

Zidane would probably play both of them as they would complement each other perfectly. That's also why Bale is the one player that I'd like to see as our RW the most. But, that will NEVER happen so there is no point fantasising about it. I'll take James any day of the week, signing him would be a big statement from the club and he'd improve our attack massively. Sign him up!

Doubt he will leave tbh. James simply loves Real Madrid and everything about being a Madrista. 

IIRC didn't he say in an interview one time that he wasn't really that big on the PL? 

Anywho, looks like Hazard has got to wait another year before he gets a competent #10/RW that's on his level.

I really don't get players' obsession or love for Real Madrid, especially when they aren't even playing. If they are playing week in week out, then fine. But when they aren't playing, why do they want to stay? Surely doing what they love and enjoying themselves on the pitch has to be bigger than warming up the bench, even for a prestigious club like Real?
