Don't really see how trying to expose corruption can be seen as being racist

Maybe he means that stereotyping all wealthy Arab people corrupt is racist because they're not all like that. Kind of like saying all Jews are good with money, which is definitely considered racist.

I see the logic but that's just a ridiculous accusation to make because the corruption is clear for everyone to see and he's just trying to make everyone to feel like shit to stop people looking into his corrupted dealings with the Qataris.

Playing the racism card as a final desperate attempt to cling on to power.

Hoping that it means the media and lawyers will back off and not investigate closely because we all know if they do they will find a web of lies, bribery and corruption which has been laced throughout FIFA in recent memory.

Pathetic really (and devaluing true racism which is of course horrific) but i've come to expect no better from that detestable human being.

Lot of allegations made, no proof. Qatar will stand by what it has won. The English and American media are after Russia and Qatar because they want the World Cup rights to them. I hope Russia doesn't give up, because Qatar won't. Tiny nation, big player mentality. The QFA is working with Garcia and hopefully this matter is put to rest soon.

Fixed.

In denial then . All allegations. Scandal this, bribe that yet no conclusive proof other than two journalists in a mid-life crisis conjuring up words with a cup of Starbucks in their hand. That's what passes as exclusive news. Innocent until proven guilty and Qatar's proud of what it's achieved despite the big bullies trying their best. Keep trying, spend money on it, try as hard as you can. You aren't going to break their resolve that easily.

Qatar is the richest country in the World per capita, run by a so called 'royal family'.

The workers who build the World Cup stadiums and construction in general come from the poorest countries in the world and are Kefala, owned by the qatari bosses who take away their passports, and basically work them to death because they know their is a constant stream of desperate workers lured by the promise of being able to send some money to their families.

According to the Guardian thousands have died, often they are given no water. Even the Qatar govt now admit, due to external pressure, that last year 246 Nepalese, Indians, and Bangladeshis died of 'cardiac arrest', 35 from falls, and 28 workers committed suicide.

Even this doesnt stop FIFA taking bribes to give this obscene regime a world cup. Well done Blatter, yeah, the inquiry is racist. Whatever.

Proof?

How about that the Summer World Cup ended up in perhaps the worst possible place to hold it. People aren't surprised because FIFA is a disgusting organisation run by corrupt, fat old men.

The whole thing is a joke and any of the other candidates would have made for a better World Cup. Now haven't you got flyers to hand out.

Work hasn't even begun on stadium projects, but surprisingly people have died by the thousands - http://www.reuters.com/article/2014/05/13/us-soccer-forum-asia-qatar-idUSKBN0DT1I520140513

"It's not possible to have 400 deaths when you are still digging a hole in the ground so I would like to make sure this matter is put to rest."

Thankfully they took it on the chin and with the help of amnesty their age old traditional system's been slowly abolished and the situation has changed. Better accommodation, already built and people are living in it. London had an Athelete village for Atheltes, Qatar already has a labor village half built. Official figures of dead Indians in Qatar are 1,000, out of 500,000 people in 4 years(via the Indian embassy in Qatar). Do the math.

Worst possible places to hold it that offers for the first time in history a micro world cup. The opportunity for an individual to watch 4 World Cup games at the same time, in air conditioned stadiums using breakthrough technology. The breakthrough technology that was reported dead and over by the English media while only a few months back, private companies declared that they made huge advancements as Qatar this week announced deals for Solar power. Worst possible place, if there wasn't a government that has the balls, money and power to achieve what it wants.

That campaign is run by an NGO consisting of women who are essentially Qatari and staunch muslims., in no way connected to the government or reflecting their own policies. Qatar's the one that has loosened laws so that you can see skin everywhere. Though i hope they didn't do that anyway. If you're proud to let your daughter's and wives, run around in tiny skirts flaunting their estrogen fueled bodies in every possible way then do so. In your own country. You come to Qatar , then you respect their values , traditions and religious beliefs. Unlike other countries, they haven't forgotten what it means to be born in Qatar. If females don't want to show that they have self respect then be it, you just don't need to flaunt it at people who have their own beliefs.

Are you looking forward to seeing an 'estrogen fueled' ankle for the first time??

'Estrogen fueled'.... gynophobia is the word of the day.

Yes, giving other's a chance and standing for what you believe in and against those who think they're better than other's just because they're a tad bit bigger.

17 years old yet inversely proportionate IQ's. Funny old world.

Gynophobia? Outdone yourself there.

you are attempting to defend the indefensible and are on the brink of racism or religious bigotry . suggest you rationalise the

situation .
