One of our greatest ever players. An integral part of the Speedie, Dixon team in the 80s. 193 appearances and 36 goals.

Chelsea Player of the Year twice, and I will never forget his equaliser at Anfield.

He is now one of those rare breeds, a TV and media pundit who is intelligent, has integrity, and talks a whole lot of sense.

Chelsea 1985 talk last night - wee Pat was there.

He said...."You may have recently seen me on Liverpool TV.......sorry, I mean Match of the Day" :)

Alan Hansen, Robbie Fowler, Danny Murphy on the BBC. Graeme Souness, Jamie Redknapp, Jamie Carragher on Sky. It is incredible really isn't it. Good on Pat for keeping the Chelsea flag even just a little bit.

I love reading his blog on the Chelsea website every Tuesday. Always a fantastic read.
