We need to start to show interest in world class players, not 20 years old kids...

I disagree. We should produce world class players. Hazard was a very talented guy from France, now every team fears him. Cech become a world class player either. Oscar, Azpilicueta or Cahill were also unknown and they are outsanding now. Buying a world class player(like Torres, Shevchenko, Crespo or Veron) is more risky.

Can he play as an out and out striker though or do we plan to buy another attacking midfielder? He plays in a free role for Hoffenheim and we play a very rigid system under Mourinho. He might struggle in such systems so I'm not sure how much sense this one will make for us.

Cahill wasn't unknown....most of the clubs thought he was average.

From that video alone I quite liked the way he dealt when the ball was passed behind him but he still managed to get it on his feet and score. His decisions seems good too, when to pass and when to shoot, plus he has quick feet to get through tight spaces.

BUT then again, that is only from a video showing good things. Would like to hear opinions from those who watches the bundesliga regularly, no not a few times, regularly please.

Just curious, but where will Bvb play all these AMs? They already have Reus, Kuba, Mkhitarjan, Aubameyang and few others who play in three positions...soon Adrian Ramos and potentialy Immobile will arrive. And Firmino, Kagawa linked with Bvb too.

Looks like Aubameyang and Reus are leaving. Kuba, Reus and Mkhtaryan are all better than Firmino, unless Reus leaves, Firmino will be bench player. And Im quite sure Reus will leave if Bvb signs Firmino.

Not really they usually always start these 3: Kuba - Mkhitaryan - Reus starting and have Aubameyang (who is a CF) who can play on the wings if needed so signing Firmino wouldn't be stupid given they lack more players at a higher level who play in the 3 behind the striker. Hoffman is just a kid really and that Grosskreutz (unsure how to spell it) is really just a utility player who can play full back or on the wing or whatever.

Immobile is another CF who will undoubtedly replace either one of Robert Lewandowski at Dortmund or Diego Costa at Atletico Madrid so who knows and Adrian Ramos is a good player but he is hardly gonna be a starter really if Dortmund get Immobile as well. Dortmunds problem this year has been their lack of quality to replace injured players like Hummels, Reus, Subotic etc so they are looking to sort that out by the sounds of things.

We dont need another #10 player anyway. Even though I'm sure Firmino has said to the media in Germany he plans to stay another year with Hoffenheim.

Francois Piraux @F8Piraux

According to reports in Germany, Mourinho has given the green light for a £15million offer to go in for Roberto #Firmino #CFC
Roberto #Firmino. 22 years old. 22 goals. 16 assists. 37 games this season with Hoffenheim. Plus, excellent defensive stats. #CFC

another brazilian gem,,very tempted about his stats. but,,why Scolari didn't call him???

He is good, no doubt, esp when it comes to scoring and assisting he is more consistent than e.b. Oscar, but eh also plays in a much worse league in a team that plays for him. Surely there is a reason, he has never played for Brazil
