THAT PACE THOUGH! His celebration was really nice, first celebrate with players, then kneel down to god. He seems such a nice bloke and it looks like he is very exited to play for Chelsea.

Momo Salah is just a gift that will keep giving good things again and again. He brought us some very good and nice posters in this forum. Next year goals and assists, the next one trophies maybe and so on.

Already in love with you Momo' Salah! Such a humble guy!

I just love players who play with a smile on their face.

He has been getting a lot of non sense from the media. People saying that he made the wrong move going to Chelsea and should have gone to Liverpool to get more playtime. He responded by saying " Moving to Chelsea was the correct thing to do ". He loves Chelsea and Mourinho. Apparently he loves his teammates too. They way they celebrated with him his first goal was just beautiful. He has to feel grateful and pumped up after getting this support from his teammates and Mourinho. He definitely must work hard to be able to have role with Chelsea

He wont get much playing time this season, but with a good and strong preseason I can see him having a decent amount next season. The guy has quality.

And what you are saying is just common sense.......try telling that to some of the people in the press. They are so trivial and really ignorant

Jose Mourinho says he needs to 'protect' new signing Mohamed Salah, because he is the baby of his Chelsea squad.

The 21-year-old, signed from FC Basel in the January transfer window, scored his first goal for the Blues on Saturday – the final nail in Arsenal's coffin as they were thumped 6-0.

Mourinho, who had remained largely calm on the touchline throughout the rout, was seen to celebrate the Egyptian's goal wildly – punching the air in delight.

The Blues' boss said the goal was vitally important for the speedy winger, who has failed to make much of an impression since his move to Chelsea.

“Salah’s (goal) was very important for his confidence,” said Mournho.

“He’s a kid, like a baby really. He needs so much protection and support from all of us, the players are being fantastic with him so step by step we’re getting there.”

The goal was not Salah's first at Stamford Bridge – having scored there for Basel in both the Europa League and the Champions League during 2013.

Baby? Aawwww...

this is good news. i was worried whether Salah was a bit anxious after not starting a single game in the first two months here. but recent quotes look encouraging

So we are going to need a RW to cover for Salah? I have one in mind!

5 players for 3 positions is enough. at the start of the season we had KdB and Mata (a total of 6) when only 4 were being used.

Willian is the cover for Salah. Even Schurrle can play there. Even Hazard
