I honestly prefer Willian playing over Oscar, I feel we are so much more quicker on the ball and the turnover is snappy rather than Oscar, not hating on Oscar just my personal preference.

Why not both in the same team :)?

That Neymar pass :o. I hope Willian keeps improving with those runs. Glad that he along with Oscar got subbed at half-time, because we need them fully fit/rested against Swansea and Shalke.

Happy for the lad, took it well and think he starts against Swansea on Saturday.

Mmm, selection is gonna be iffy because the Brazillians had a long flight and they will not resume training until friday i guess. I think José will want to keep one of them fresh for wednesday. On the other hand, Willian and Oscar only played 1 half against Equador, wouldn't be surprised it was requested by Mourinho.

If he plays against City, he will replace Oscar, because I can't Ramires not starting this one.

I know he will, in fact we will play the exact same team as against Everton like we should. Oscar if he plays in this one will be a passage or won't contribute enough at the attacking end because we will be spending a lot of time in our own half, when we go forward we will go extremely fast like last season. Oscar just can't do it, he hasn't got that pace.

Not sure. Oscar is that kind of player that many fans think he is not good enough, but the manager loves for some reason. I get the feeling Oscar was not involved in the game against Everton because of injury.

Well he didn't exactly get a vote of confidence last season in the big games.

I hope people will see sense and give Willian a break for his performance today. He's basically had to play as a second fullback all game. Could have held on to the ball better but almost impossible for him to have any meaningful impact.

Exactly, he defended well, kept possession and let opponents get cards.

He wasn't effective on the counter but even Hazard and Costa couldn't dribble past their walls in the 1st half. Fernandinho, Kompany, Mangala and Toure are just 4 beasts in the center.

It wasn't his best performance but it's too harsh to only blame him.

It baffles me that people compare Oscar with Willian - they are completely different players.

Oscar is a rounded player who thrives in adversity and plays best when centralized.

Willian is a one trick pony, specialist dribbler who plays from wing to center and then shoots. He does that very well but that's it.

I honestly don't tjonk William is or will ever be good enough to start for either Brazil or Chelsea.

I personally think Jose got the line up against city very wrong; we got lucky with the red, but did not really deserve anything out of this as city dominated from the get go.
