What is the black kit like?

The new home one seems quite tight compared to the last few seasons, so wondering whether to go a size up or not.

I don't have it but it is the same template apart from the collar so I would imagine it would be exactly the same.

The home one looks tight but it really really isn't! Don't get fooled into buying a size larger, because the TechFit ones the players wear are to help circulate air and prevent moisture (sweat) build-up. The away kit appears to be the same.

Thanks lads.

Though what I'm gonna do is see what happens at the end of the season, as I like to collect shirts with

things like "FA CUP FINAL 2009" or things like that stitched near the badge, knowing my luck I would buy the kit, and

we'd end up playing in it in a final at the end of the season.

I'm weird like that.

No, the letters from the old one (they used them until 2007 or something) were a bit longer than the current ones.

o yeah.. they changed the bpl patch aswelll right??

on the 2005-2006 season.. did we have anything spesial on our bpl patches because we were champions for the season before that.. the 2004-2005 season.

i know that golden patches for champions is kinda new.. so did we get like "2004-2005 champions" writing on our patch??

just wondering.....

I think cech really likes that orange kit

He's got that as a reserve kit for a few reasons:

  • A lot of goalkeepers this season are wearing green jerseys, meaning the referee must therefore wear a black jersey. That means at places such as Everton, where the first choice goalkeeper shirt is green, Cech is likely to wear that shirt.
  • The lime green kit also clashes with traditional referee colours so there are occasions he won't be able to wear that one.
  • He likes it ;)
