Demba Ba

It's not like he will be under a shit load of pressure realistically as the amount of time torres has had to try and make it work he should be fine.

I really want this to happen now. I thought he was going to arsenal but would be great if he wasn't too... Especially as Falcao looks unlikely to want to come in january.

Fast, sharp, very strong, great in the air, more than decent touch, scores goals. Scores goals against top teams and even has knack of scoring some stunners.. It's not like there's talk about signing him for 30 mil. For the reported fee, he'd make a excellent signing despite his dodgy knee.

I think the talk of his knee is very overated - he's hardly Ledley King playing once every three games.

He's played week in week out for West Ham and then Newcastle in the Premier League for the last two years.

If he does have a degenerative condition it is unlikely to affect him too bad for the next couple of seasons at least - he looks very fit and sharp and seems to be at his peak. And coming to join us, he won't have to play every game like he does at Newcastle. You would expect us to be able to manage him better.

Despite his 'knee problems' he has never got injured for Newcastle IIRC. Would be a decent buy. My question is does this mean Lukaku is set for more loans and how does this impact with Falcao one must wonder?

I think we will go for Falcao in the summer, likely as a replacement for Torres. Lukaku may spend another season on loan or return as third choice striker behind Falcao and Ba depending on the amount of games we can provide him with.

He is now 1/6 to go to us.

Be great to have a proper target man back in the team. He is 27 as well so got quite a few years and his knee problem seems overly Brought up. He is also gonna be under 10 mil and that seems like great value to me.

Best player we can go for in January. Cheap fee and a good goal scoring record which will surely extend when he plays with our attacking mid. Let's do this!

I think this is the perfect way to go, if Lukaku is pleased with it. Our attack striker would be solved!

I still prefer wilfred bony he is a natural lone striker only 23 years of age and without a knee problem and highly prolific. GBAM!!!perfect replacement for the loss of sturridge.

But that would be more of a gamble (young, unproven)..
