Eto'o is no way a poor player. Please stop trying to justify Torres sorry performance over the years as a Chelsea player with Etoo who despite having played in the EPL for 6 months has still outscored him

I'm not trying to justify Torres's performances...I just think they're both players who used to be good but are both past it.

Eto'o won us the game against United, Torres won us the City game....yay for them. Ultimately neither of them is the answer and both of them are symptomatic of problems from different eras.

I feel with Eto'o he atleast gets the basics right, if nothing else. When he has the ball i feel happy enough to say were still have it in 5 seconds time , with Torres and Ba im mentally preparing for the loss off possession.

But like you said neither are good enough to start for us and that will be adressed in the summer.

Eto'o is in no way a poor player and he offers alot more than Torres. What good is Torres' pace behind defenders when he isnt able to do fuck all? HE HAS MORE YELLOW CARDS THAN GOALS and he's more on the ground complaining at the referee than he is contributing to Chelsea.

Eto'o is far superior and is able to hold the ball, offer some great linkup play with Hazard, knows how to shoot and finish.

This right here requires a great amount of skills. Look how he contorts himself from scratch, no touch involved. Brad Pitt, Ben Affleck, Leo di Caprio charge millions for a few weeks for their CGI work and you still come here to this thread to question his miserable 150k a week? Do you think it's easy to have to act against the green screen/pitch, without seeing or touching what's attacking you and having to imagine it all in your head and synchronize it perfectly? It requires precision, skill, touch, vision, and ability to move through small spaces. Torres got it all.

Torres' is completely underrated in this forum. I'm disappointed.
