Give him a break today. He done well, scored and earned the free kick for the winning goal. I can't fault him for today, he done well. Also had good physical contests with the Arsenal defenders, with him coming up on top quite a few occasions. Give him credit, most of us did not want him to even play today. That being said him scoring or playing well does not mean he is back to his best. Nice summary I think :)

Torres was decent today. People going over the top because of the goal. He still ran down the channels rather than actually stay in the middle and some of his touches/decision making was terrible. Mind you if he carries on getting goals it'll be fine.

Other than his goal and the fact he has scored twice in a row from uncharacteristic situations for him, the thing that I liked the most was his heading and hold up play. I don't know if our passes were more accurate, if Arsenal's defenders were just shit or he was better, but it was probably the only game where I felt playing it long wasn't an automatic loss of possession.

I guess Messi and Ronaldo are absolutely garbage then because shockingly they can't even covert EVERY CHANCE into goal!!?! OMG they are fucking shit! Thank you for making me realize that. :)

Seriously, you can't be that naive to think a Forward can capture every single chance can you? Torres played very well today and you know it. Stop being blinded by your biased perception.

Not every single chance, but at least 70% if he plays in a team like chelsea, top team.
