Why do we have to get another big money striker?

Not saying we shouldn't get astriker if Torres fails again, but i personally am not a fan of buying another 50-60m striker.

To be honest, if we just keep grooming Lukaku.. All we may need to do is find support for him, who can double up as strikers, and hope they deliver more than we thought we'd get. Like Anelka, but younger.

Good! I knew AVB wasn't stupid! Why sell Torres when he can still come good?! And Anelka and Kalou are leaving in January, Drogba's off to play in the African cup of nations, Lukaku isn't ready for the PL yet, (he should go on loan to another PL club imo) so we cant get rid of another striker or we'll really struggle!! But I'd love some great new signings in January please AVB!

Put it this way..

If Torres does play, I'll of course support him and hope he does well. Providing, he shows energy, passion, commitment, desire etc. He was never, realistically, going be sold this January anyway. We'd be too short of options. Nando will understand why he's not getting a look in at the moment - Drogba is in splendid form. But hopefully he's working very hard in training, keep his mentality right & showing all the signs he's ready to make a good come back.
