So glad we have so many top scouts that frequent the forum. My knowledge would be so inferior without them.

Giving opinions doesn't mean we are right. A forum is to discuss about players and what we THINK. Just like real top scouts we might be wrong in the end. Without those "top scouts" no forum or do we all have to agree with decions token by the Chelsea board? That said my heart beats at the bridge even if they would sell Charly like they did with KDB.

For the record KDB wasn't sold because he wasn't good enough. It's because he's an arse hole. Just as Charly is starting to act posting shit constantly on Instagram. Wouldn't surprise me if Mourinho did want to get rid, these sort of players aren't good for the dressing room.

When you start ti slate the staff that's when it makes you sound like your opinion has more worth than theirs. They're scouts at one of the biggest clubs in the world for a reason...

If the interest is true, it really does say something though. Then he really is immensely talented. Youth players can go on to join other big clubs and surprise in some capacity. Think Cesc to Arsenal or Pogba to Juventus.

If Musonda is unhappy about not playing, I don't see what reason the club have not to send him out on loan. The Championship and Vitesse loans haven't proven to be effective. If he really is good enough, he should have no problem becoming a regular at the club of his choosing. Whether it's a lesser side like PSV or a big side like Valencia. If he proves himself at a club like Valencia, he has proven the manager wrong and he can come back as a worthy first team player. If he doesn't manage to do so, he comes back and tries his luck at a lower level. Preferably on loan again or permanently.

Let's take this player on loan.

Use him in all the first team matches instead of our own youth players.

Then at the end of the season he goes back to his parent club and then sold for a profit.

At they end of the seaon we've developed a player, lost him and got nothing in return.

YES THIS IS WHAT CLUBS WANT TO DO. Are people really so naive to believe that clubs are frothing from the gash to develope Chelsea youth players?

Yet, Bremen took KDB on loan.

Sometimes a loan can become profitable because of the added value the player brings in the team. If he helps you win the league (and the CL money that comes with it) for example...

Well i don't think we can blame the staff, they clearly rate him. Remember that we where the only club willing to buy all 3 Musonda brothers (altough the real target was Charly). Arsenal, Barcelona, Manchester City where all interested back in the day. Charly actually got a tour at their training complex through contacts made with Johan Boskamp (who is very close with the family). But they all weren't willing to take in his brothers as well. The staff doesn't decide if Charly get's chances in the first-team, that is Mourinho's choice. We also went through some changes in management since he signed, AVB was the manager when he arrived if i recall correctly.

He could've gotten chances under their direction, who know's. He was training regularly with the first-team when Benitez was here. It is also pretty clear that José prefers certain kind of players. Look at Izzy Brown, RLC, Boga... they are all physically well built. Something Musonda does not have. I doubt it even if he went on loan, he would get chances in the future under Mourinho. He just doesn't fit him like Mata/KDB didn't fit him.

If he does leave, it will be sad. But i can see Arsenal fitting better for a player with his ambitions and talent. 12 Million is a good price anyway for a youth player that hasn't played first-team football.

I speak as a Belgian and maybe my post is a little subjective, but if they sell Musonda after losing KDB, then Chelsea staff should go to see an eye- specialist. Biggest Belgian talent. I even place him next to Eden potentially even they are totally different players. So please let the guy go on a loan and let him prove he is top class.

True. Equally subjective, but its a no brainer. Musonda is indeed an Eden talent. He seems to perform when it matters, too [emoji41] We would be wise to nurture it carefully.

Masouda isn`t "one of Jose`s players and never will be" but Sterling who has a price tag of 50m, has a tackle ratio of 1 every 82 minutes of football and shown several character flaws is?

I think every great prospect/top player can become one of Jose`s guys..just gotta work hard,be tuned in and willing to follow his instructions. you don`t have to be a tackling machine..just do your part..press players when they have the ball, clog passing lanes etc..

KDB didn`t have the right attitude at the time to play for a major club,it remains to be seen if he has now or ever will..same as Lukaku..tho KDB is closer to the talent level required.

we possibly should have made him honour his contract and forced him to be more patient for his chance but he forced his departure.

3 hours of playing against a Crystal Palace back up keeper and a back 4 made up of Reading,Hull and Swansea defenders without scoring suggests that the Belgium attacking players aren`t as great as they are hyped up to be. contain Eden seems the way to stop them.

Looks like Chelsea doesn't want to sell him, thank god :)

Currently there are talks ongoing for a loan deal. Marseille, Valencia and Roma all want to have him on loan. Not mentioning AS Monaco, and PSV. Probably our most in demand youngster!

Don't wanna see him go to Roma. Marseille, Valencia and PSV look like decent options for him to develop.

I would say yes always to Marseille just because Marcelo Bielsa is the manager.

I think Bielsa is even more crazier then Mourinho in terms of demand.

If any of our youth is able to survive one season with Bielsa then we will have a great player coming back.

KDB has proven his worth 20 times more than Eden for the Belgian team. Stopping KDB = stopping the Belgian team with Wilmots as the coach.

When Musonda played with the big boys vs Thailand I think he was one of the best players on the pitch. He was creative, good and comfortable on the ball and did his defensive duties as well, but most importantly he really demanded the ball and was given it by the other players. In this aspect, Boga and Loftus-Cheek impressed me much less. Where those two were clearly juniors playing in a big team for the first (or almost first) time, it looked to me as if Musonda already belonged there.

I think that's something you don't regularly see, and it convinces me that Musonda would be able to get a spot as a starter at e.g. PSV.

It's just my opinion though, I could be wrong. :)

LOL this is hilarious.

Musonda is very good and one of the most promising players is Europe in his age group BUT boy do you Belgian folks OVERRATE HIM.

For yrs now Boga has been the most impressive player in our youth setup. Yeah Musonda had a better yr this yr, but remember Boga was injured for big chunk of it. Do remember that Boga outperformed the likes of Salah in the last pre-season.

RLC was even more impressive in the post season two yrs ago against much better opposition in Man City.

Musonda is soo overhyped by the Belgian folks that he has started to eat his own hype going by his recent social media posts. A luck of humility and level headedness has been the downfall of many top prospects.

For every Ronaldo type( top prospect with a lack of humility and being subtlety entitled that makes it) there are 100 Ben Arfas.

Musonda is my favorite prospect alongside Christensen, Traore, Boga and Colkett, but i'm starting to fear him.

Marseille interest doesn't go away it seems. Their president even specifically named Musonda as the player they're looking for. He has fantastic workrate and there's exodus in OM, they said that they have to sell players before 30th June (to record profit on 2014/15 financial books) so he will have plenty of chances there. Monaco wouldn't be a bad choice either with their youth approach, just look how many youngsters play there.

Wouldn't say no to PSV with Champions League football but I think it's between Marseille and Monaco. Monaco looks to settle with Pasalic as a makeweight for Falcao loan so I bet on OM.

Baffled as someone suggested Vitesse loan. If so many good clubs are after him and there's rumoured 10m€ offer for a guy who hasn't played a minute in senior football yet, you can imagine how highly is he rated.
