Well Southampton also play on that Thursday away to Leicester and considering their relegation battle they wont be able to rest players either.

But to have both teams play just 3 days before the semi-final is stupid, isn't it? Couldn't they have put it on a Wednesday or even after the semi-final? And for the other semi-final, Spurs play their league game on Tuesday - 3 days of rest - while United play on Wednesday - 2 days of rest. The whole scheduling thing is rubbish.

Yeah I also think its stupid, but I'm just saying it's not like Southampton have a full week to rest for our semi-final match.

No change there... Know some managers strangely get some stick for complaining but it is stupid. Especially if just for telly....

Least ones away and another is at home.. Still crap though!

If we are not going to win it. We might as well get out of it early. I think what made our season go to shit last season was the 2 carabao losses to Arsenal in January. The team never mentally recovered after those Arsenal fixtures, Morata especially.

For the sake of our fringe players I wanted to stay in the Cup. Liverpool away should be a tough one.

They'll be playing the 6 EL group games along with a FA Cup outing.

FA Cup only starts on January, so it means some of them will realistically end up only playing 6 games between now and January. Thats if we are not in trouble in our EL group matches

Depends how seriously its taken though. If look unlikely to get top 4 then Europa is our best bet..

Just shame if going out has to be to sodding Liverpool. Then again.. Might win!
