I think you are underrating Ivanovic at RB, while extremely overrating him at CB.

Ivan has often stated he doesnt like playing there, plus he's not blessed with speed.

Ivanovic is a much better RB then CB, even though he wouldn't admit it. He hasn't been quality at CB for a while now, while he puts in quality performances at RB.

I don't think it should be a priority to get a RB in this transfer window, this season is almost lost and i hope AVB experiment with Hutchinson and see what we have in the youngster.

A new RB with Cahill will solve all our defensive problem for some time, and then we can focus on the other areas like wingers and creative mid.

I am very happy with Ivan as our RB, but good fullbacks are extremely rare and if he's a quality RB then I don't mind us going for him at all. Better safe than Bosingwa.

think hutch got injured in a reserve game the other night, not sure the severity of it but with his injuries in the past maybe there are concerns still over his long term fitness but then why give him a contract at all.

He is pretty good at CB though, he has played a few games this year in that position.
