I have to agree w/ these dudes, McGregor has a bit of ground game to survive in the MMA World

I do love watching good pundits take apart a fight (Or match) afterwards. Im not the smartest tactician on the block so I dont always see the plays before they happen so its good sometimes to see the thinking behind the outcome.

I wouldn't classify Rener & Ryron Gracie as pundits, but excellent instructors. Check them out when Ms Rowdy Rousey came to their academy

Wouldnt it be nice to get the luvly Rowdy on her back with yer her clamped firmly in her thighs! Shes not really had anyone come near her and cant see her next one being any different. Personally I'd like to see her fight a guy. Merryweather would be ok.

The guy was a true animal. Some amazing brute strength in them fists. But I wouldn't like to see him back just like I didn't want Drogs back. Those last 3 fights before he retired showed it was his time to stop and at what? 38 now? Its past his sell by date IMHO.

Maybe tho if he changed his stance on PEDs he could do it.

My thoughts on PEDs (in all sports) is there should be 2 competions. 1 with PEDs and 1 without. Or if theres a clause for the 1 not taking them to agree they will fight the person using them then OK.

Testosterone enhancements dont help on their own. You still need to do all those hours in the gym, all the roadwork, all the eating properly, so its not some miracle drug.

to support Chelsea is like drinking a fine wine. Not everyone will appreciate it's taste or qualities. no punishment there, because it's having the finer things in life ...could be a lot worse like supporting spurs or fulham

Tell me about it mate - there are times I can't sleep knowing CFC is about to play, but come on now this is our MMA thread. Let's talk about people getting bashed instead of our obsession to The Blues. Did you see UFC Glasgow yesterday? There was some good shit right there. Also on there was that Fight Night in San Diego. Frank Mir is a straight fucking beast. Stand with him & you can get KTFO. Grapple w/ him & he can take one of your limbs off. Best thing to do is to take a fight against a lesser opponent. Checkout his handy work the other day

I never used to like Mir. I thought he was like Matt Hughes, one of those stereo typical US college jock bullies, A sarcastic,smarmy git with one of those faces you just want to punch. But it was when he sub'd Nog after almost being sub'd himself that made me change my mind. And even tho hes the size of a man mountain he can do someting outside of the box like that toe hold submission over Tank in like 30/40 seconds!

I do think he has had his fair share of roids cause he just ballooned up and I do think at his age now hes pushing it but its upto him.
