CHELSEA SIGN DEAL WITH DELTA AIR LINES

Well I can tell you from experience that I had the worst moment in my life flying with this company. Thought I was going to die........ Was flying from New York to London and one hour into the flight there was a massive bang.... Apparently one of the engines had blown or something got stuck in it........... We ended up turning around and flew back to NYC, it was possibly one of the scariest things I have ever experienced and too make things worse instead of giving us a hotel to stay in they made us sit in the airport for 5 hours trying to fix it. I ended up flying 60 hours in 3 days and had minimal sleep, was I glad to get back to Melbourne after all that!

I had a similar expierence flying from Hungary to Bulgaria, not on the same airline tho.

Massive turbalance, seatbelt signs on early, machanics being done to the plane just before we got on it and a horrendous landing.

I still believe to this day we crash landed.

I expect few commercials, like United had with Turkish airlines.

Great deal, maybe they will decorate few airplanes with Chelsea logos :)

Things we did so far:

Won CL

signed Hazard, Marin

signed with Audi, Sauber and Delta airlines

+ tour in US again (vs Milan and Psg too)

Nice, knowing its stil june.

On the subject of airlines, you really can't beat Qantas.

/plugging my parents employers.

Ah excuse me, who recently had an engine failure while the plane was flying from canberra to Sydney? Qantas I believe.

Air transport world has voted Air NZ best airline of the year! Booyah! :D

Hope all this commercial dealing doesn't turn into the renaming of Stamford Bridge

10 years ago, Qantas used to be the best and safest airline in the world. 10 years on, their a joke. Problem after problem. Engine failure after engine failure. Employee strikes after employee strikes. What happened to our proud flying Kangaroo...I certainly would and will choose Jet Star/Virgin Australia over Qantas anyday. I heard Qantas was close to being closed down recently as well. I just can't see them ever restoring their reputation.

What do fans think about renaming the east or west stands for sponsorship? that would bring in extra wouldn't it? The FFP rules are making this kind of deal essential to any club now. We gotta do what we got do to compete, we're starting off this summer in the gift way, De Bruyne, Marin, hazard in, these deals for sponsorship are in place, still over a month until it all starts properly!
