Squad numbers have been announced for Hazard, Marin and De Bruyne!

http://www.chelseafc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10268~2847897,00.html

Hazard takes No.17, Marin No.21 and KDB No.14!

Is KDB taking a squad number and particularly one so low an indication that he won't go out on loan? Considering benayoun lost his squad number last summer and then got moved on...

I dont think I've ever looked forward to a season as much as this one. Despite Drogba leaving, Hazard, Marin, Oscar (hopefully) and De Bruyne are such exciting technical players to add to Mata and Torres, we should definitely produce some the best football the club has seen since Abramovich arrived.

I'm loving the confidence that Eden has in himself, he understands his role in the team and his ambition is just what we need in order for him to develop into a world class player.

Too much pressure on the kid because of the "price tag"

On the contrary, a Marin type of player free to play as he chooses with not much pressure at all.....Would not be surprise if the end of the season people are talking more about Marin then Hazard for the right reasons....well one season might be pushing it, but in 2 seasons.

I agree. But that depends on how Hzard handels the pressure. He could either be like Torres and flop or like Drogba who thrived on pressure and big matches.

Lmao, that's a rather limited prediction..

He could have a decent season, not great but not poor. It's impossible for a 21 year old to flop like Torres did, I shouldn't have to explain why.

As long as he ignores all the silly English media agenda on him and just be himself and play his normal game, he will be fine.
