Sturridge is not a proper winger.

AVB's system does not require a specialist winger like Robben or Sanchez. A technically gifted forward,which I believe Sturridge is, can easily adapt to the 4-3-3 system as he's already shown in Bolton and pre-season and if you need further prove, look no further than Hulk with porto last season, he isn't a proper winger neither but adapted well to AVB's system.

But even then most big clubs have two wingers per position.

We had it with Anelka and Kalou. Why can't we have Sturridge and a new one?

Also Malouda and Yury. So get a new one as well to cover Yury spot?

Because that would be a luxury purchase and given the new FFP rule, we need to spend wisely to comply with the FFP.

Me too. at this point in time, I would welcome any player.signing that can/would offer more than Malouda currently does on the left wing in terms of genuine width and creativity.

Lille haven't really started well. Moving frome Lille to PSG, doesn't make sese because it's the same shit, same league.

You know, Lille always start bad their seasons and they gain momentum after that, they often finish the season well

I explained a bit in his topic, during the season I did chat with Fener fans and they said me that the team wasn't working because they were a lot of individuals playing on their own (that's why Fener was crashed out the CL or the EL by a poor team). They said me that he was adaptating to the country, that he wasn't the first choice and that his appeareances on the left wing were not fully convincing, not regular...

He will certainly be better this season, but I think Chelsea made the right choice to let him go, I don't think he could be a top team's player...

The French league has given us some great players over the years so it can't be that bad.

Be carefull, they are also a lot of crap players such as Gignac, Gomis, Marveaux, Obertan... Like every championship, there is some gems and some wet crackers.

I would be over the moon if Hazard signs, he has a huge potential but's it's too early for him to go. This season, he was awarded the Player of the Season award whereas Gervinho was in front of him in terms of contribution to the results of the team, even if the ivoirian is not a fantastic winger, his play is stereotyped...

But Hazard has to gain more importance in the team, he has to be able to carry his team, and influing more on the results of the team and in the same time, suffering less the form of the team (not that he is irregular, but when his team required the plus because it was not a good day, he wasn't present everytime). He has a lot of talent, he seems to have a good mentality either. He is a gem, he has a lot of work to become a great player but he has the potential.

Rudi Garcia said last year that he does not have seen yet the limits of Hazard.

Sorry, but I'm quite suspicious of a supposed deal that is contingent upon a team advancing from the CL playoff round.
