Looks like Real Madrid came into this game thinking their talent would just see them turn Tottanham over. Benzema looks completely washed up and Ronaldo looks totally out of it.

Yes, I am aware of that but still, you would expect better from the European and La Liga champions.

Tbf every top league's champions haven't started well this season. Us, Real, Monaco. Juventus started to pick it up recently but they are still not at their best. Maybe it's the champion's syndrome.

All these teams that can actually retain the ball and use their quality in attack is the most depressing thing. You watch City and Spuds players fight and push, push, push. Understanding between all 11 players. Our players just give up when things get tough.

You can honestly say that at the moment Chelsea plays the worst football amongst the top 6 in the PL and even sides like Roma make us look painfully average.

Hary Winks started for England and manage to replace Dembele from starting 11. That should say something

Spurs had an even worse window than us yet are smashing the champions of Europe not long after doing likewise to Dortmund and Liverpool. Conte has acted like a schoolchild over the summer window, maybe if he just got on with it like Pochettino did we might have some more points, home and abroad.
