Psg vs real should be very tasty. I don't think Psg will mind. Their goal is to conquer Europe, there is no better way than to beat the defending champion.

Both us n spurs for some reason got the hardest opp both in the group stage n round 16, whereas pool, city and united keep getting relatively easy opp

Whatever. So long as we don't play Cahill against them and Bakayoko can round into form by then we have a good chance. Barca aren't the insane force they were a few years ago. We can beat them.

I am not sure I am than unhappy against Barca. Yes of course Besiktas is maybe easier but this is not the best barca team. They are a flawed team, yes Messi is still great but he is no longer that prime Messi that can almost single handedly win you big game. Suarez is underperformed, their midfield and back are suspect. I fancy our chances as long as we can keep them quiet in the 1st leg.

Yeah, it is not the strongest Barca, but that applies to us as well...

I don't know. I mean, I'm hapy we didn't get f'ing PSG, but this will be quite the match. And of course us and Spuds get the hardest draws...

I think Fazio's the best value signing of the past 5 years, for any team currently in the CL or EL. Plays like a 35m player, 5x (I think?) his transfer fee. One of Roma's top 10 ever CB's; top 5 perhaps since the 90's.

He's almost like their Azpilicueta in a few ways.

Milan being decimated 0-3 to Verona, who're 2nd-bottom in Serie A (which is sad, considering their fan base is one of the better ones in Italy in terms of vocality; would love to see them have oil money pumped into them.)

Milan will surely only get back to the top when they actually turn back into AC Milan - meaning bringing in players & staff who were there during the glory days.

Apparently Kaka could be going back as an assistant soon, and personally I think that's a great start if it happens. It doesn't matter if these ex-players lack staff-like experience: their love for the club will carry it. Next they should target van Basten. If they want to jump back to the top quicker, they'll somehow convince Ancelotti to manage them too.

Amazing yet expected that Juventus are just about top again considering they were far behind, and probably have to cope with their worst form in around 8+ years.
Inter were on fire, Lazio too, Roma, Napoli - but all have too thin squads, too little quality rotation, too few new ideas going into games. Juventus have the squad, the rotation, the mentality/experience, the cohesion. It was always a case of when they'd catch up and not if.

The Manager? Didn't mention that.
