Gaël Kakuta

starts the move by himself from the own corner flag... nice technique giving a pass to the forward from there whilst shielding the ball from the opponent... then popps up at the edge of the box and plays a class first touch pass... sadly the striker couldnt controll it propperly...

he looks really sharp and much much better... has a bit of his confidence back... nice and slick passing and has his pit bull mentallity back fights for every ball... not like with us where carlo asked him to keep in the background for the sake of the team...

Thanks for the link, saw the first half and was a bit scrappy, not enough to showcase Kakuta talent with the type of football his team is playing.

At the end should have been 1 to 0 for Dijon, but the goalie had a great stop.

Hopefully second half would be better, and Kakuta gets more chances.

yea but when kakuta was on the ball he did very well and wans't led down by his confidence like before...

he had 4 very good actions on the pith imho... and they should lead... hopefully he gets more involved... but as you can see he has a great speed and is also able to play on the wings...

Yeah definitely. But do you think he does better on the wings or behind the striker?

I think he does better behind the striker... he is very much a player in the way mata is... but i honestly think he has tremendous talent and could be one of the worlds best if he gets into his own...

despite being simmilar to mata... he is much better on the wings then the spainiard...

His objective for this season is to play a shit load of games and to establish himself like Sturridge did. He is playing a lot of games of late and he's creating and scoring goals, his confidence is back and he has grown taller. He is also doing the basic things well, when he was with us he over cooked things and it was killing his confidence. He has to learn from Zidane, Zidane would pass the ball 90% of the time but the 10% would be him dribbling and trying taking a chance. Gael has superb and I mean SUPERB VISION, he just needs to get games under his belt !

Confidence was his only problem really. This run of games and hopefully a good preseason at the start of next season and he should be just fine.

Can provide excellent backup for Mata, or even play on left wing and let Mata move in the middle. Got a lot stronger too by the looks of it.

confidence and experience are related though and i think its important for him to get these opportunities and he is growing, as he has expected to
