Kakuta targets Bolton starts

"I'm obviously extremely grateful for the opportunity to play here at Bolton Wanderers, but my main aim is to get into that Chelsea first team."

It's funny because 'Kakuta' (who is trying to replicate Sturridge's success at Bolton) will essentially be competing for his RW spot in the team next season. Because let's face it, he won't be able to play as a CAM in AVB's setup, if he does make an impact at Bolton.

What do you guys think of Kakuta eventually replacing Florent Malouda?

He seems to have all the skills to become a great winger/CAM...now its just up to Chelsea to make sure he gets the correct amount of playing time at this stage of his development.

Strange question, considering I've already answered it in the quoted post.

Kakuta (in this setup) will be competing for Sturridge's position when he returns. Both him and Josh will never get an opportunity at CAM, so we can cancel that out, and Mata's position on the left side will be untouchable. Thus, the kid who went on loan to Bolton this season. Will eventually be competing with the guy who went on loan to Bolton last season.

Malouda is no longer a first team player, so I don't see the logic in that. He's either going to make it as a winger or not at all. He certainly won't be playing as one of the central 3 in a 4-3-3 (which Malouda has had to do this season against Leverkusen). He has attacking instincts, he was gaining a reputation in the France u19's playing behind the strikers ffs.
