He's made 4 mistakes in our last four games, 3 of which have resulted in goals, whilst the other came off the post.  

No one here is writing him off but we're allowed to criticise someone that is making the same mistake.

Yes true - mistakes happen., it is in human nature to make mistakes, regardless if your a footballer or a bin man. He will learn from them, hes hardly a bomb scare and will become better for having the experience of playing through a tough period where hes maybe caused a few goals directly.

Most people don't need to make the same mistake four times before they start to learn. It's a patchy time that is hopefully nipped in bud.

How in the world you manage to make so many mistakes on regular basis and still keeps your place in the team? If Cahill was at his place Chelsea fans would destroy him without hesitation.

Because he’s a 21 yo guy and Chelsea are having a difficult season. His mistakes aren’t patterned problems either really. Context is everything.

True but these mistakes are regularly happening. I think if Luiz was fit he’d maybe have opted for him tonight because 4 or 5 matches on the trot he’s had bad moments. If it was Cahill he’d of been slaughtered 100%. Also if Willian had played as badly as Eden recently, slaughtered. No doubt in Andreas talent obviously but mistakes on a weekly basis does warrant a rethink, perhaps if Luiz was fit he’d have more food for thought.

I believe Luiz would have given away a silly penalty like he did vs Atletico. He lacks composure in this type of matches.

There is a reason Luiz and Cahill get "slaughtered" for their mistakes: You don't expect players of their profile and experience to make such mistakes. Without these tough games Andreas will never grow as a CB. Gary and David are both way past their prime, so nothing good would come out of relying on either of them instead of Andreas.

Stop the madness. Christensen still is a average player. He should be playing some game here and there, instead of starting important games like he is doing right now.

What you said doesn't make any sense mate, any sense. He is 21 years old, ok, it means he is probably not ready to start game after game, specially games against Barcelona, or decisive games in PL. Both Cahill and Luiz were great and solid last season, Cahill was also solid in 14/15 season when the team won the PL. Both Luiz and Cahill had poor games this season, but again, the team is having a difficult season.

Christensen becoming an untouchable player is Conte's production. The fact some fans believe a 21 years with zero CV, who won nothing for Chelsea or any other team, became "better than Luiz and Cahill" (both player who won everything with the club)  after 2 or 3 good games in PL, just show how pathetic some fans are.

Yeah he could be an okay emergency solution at DMF, but I don't see that being his main position. He's a CB through and through for me.
