I thought England don't allow work permits for under-18 South Americans?

My thoughts exactly, although there are circumstances where he possibly holds a European passport from somewhere? Also it is allowed in certain circumstances. Would be good for us to pick up some South American talent. U15's though is a young age and unless he does have an EU passport then i wouldn't think our chances of bringing him over are very good.

Chelsea are hoping to finalise a move for Brazilian wonderkid Lucas Piazon.

Piazon has already been dubbed the 'New Kaka' following his superb displays for Brazil in the South American Under-15 Championships.

The Sao Paulo forward scored a hat-trick against Bolivia and finished the tournament as top scorer with ten goals.

Reports in Brazil suggest that Chelsea have already started negotiations with the South American club and hope to finalise a move in the near future.

Juventus have also been linked with Piazon, but they have made no offers for the teenage superstar. Chelsea look the strong favourites to clinch his signature.

16 years old, someone for the future.

Maybe we should be looking into getting players to help the squad NOW rather then the future?

But still good to see the club trying to gain some of the so called world future stars.

Brazilian wonderkid Lucas Piazon has snubbed Chelsea and agreed a move to Juventus.

The 17-year-old Sao Paulo striker is regarded as one of the best young talents in the world, and has been dubbed the ‘New Kaka’.

Chelsea looked favourites to land the teen sensation, but Piazon has spent the past week in Italy training with Juventus and has now decided to join the Serie A side.

“Juventus are one of the greatest clubs in the world and I am proud to be able to become one of their players," he told Tuttosport.

"My dream is to score goals and make the fans happy. I have already met players. Felipe Melo and Amauri said hello and I had a photograph with Alessandro Del Piero."

Reports in Italy claim Piazon has yet to officially complete his switch, but a deal worth around 5million euros is expected to be rubberstamped in the coming days.
