He wasn't getting game time for the first team, he was playing in the reserves just as he will be with us. What would loaning him back achieve? It would just hinder his development due to lackluster coaching.

and the coaching he will get with our reserves is ..............................

Is the same coaching that has produced and nurtured talents such as Miroslav Stoch, Jeffery Bruma, Gokhan Tore, Fabio Borini, Tomas Kalas, Scott Sinclair...The list goes on. Don't judge our coaches performance on our board and managers errors.

Paul Clement was a first team coach wasn't he? Dermot Drummy? You mean the manager who won the FA youth cup for us? I see why you're worrying now.......................................

The Blues should have been awarded a penalty on the half-hour when Bamford burst through the Gills defence and appeared to be fouled just as he rounded Hawkes, but the referee waved play on.

Bamford was a lively presence in attack and he again forced Hawkes into action, but the Gills keeper was up to the task.

Bamford got the goal his lively showing deserved when he fired past Ash Bourne from the edge of the box.

But Chelsea then restored their lead as an incredible passage of play continued, Bamford winning and then firing home a penalty low down to the keeper's left.

Good bright start for patrick. I hope his form continues and maybe we'll see him getting a chance with the first team in a year or so. blue%20scalf.gif

a 5 4 win against Gillingham reserves doesnt suggest our B team are ready for the Championship

There were some of u16 involved if I'm not mistaken.

Boga and Traore also played.

looks a big strong lad, which always helps in the prem!

Yep, his stature is very impressive.

That first goal they showed though, not Bramford's, was very impressive!
