Gary Cahill has completed his transfer from Bolton to Chelsea.

He is now the fifth current England International in the squad. Gary completed his medical Saturday morning before watching the first team play against Sunderland.

Gary was clearly happy with the move: 'Chelsea is a massive club, it is a club that looks to win trophies season in season out and it is a big opportunity for me to be a part of that. Opportunities like this you can't turn down.'

Cahill is not cup-tied in the FA Cup after sitting out the third round game for Bolton and is eligible to play against QPR in the fourth round. He will wear the number 24 shirt.

Glad that we have a respectable amount of quality English players now, at one point I thought we were gonna do an Arsenal or an Inter

Yeah, agree with you. Sturridge, Cole, Cahill, Terry, Lamps + McEachran, Bertrand and Hutchinson. Sounds good. It feels right looking at the English national team and a lot of Chelsea players there :)
