What do you mean!? Lol

I meant regenerated*. I've always thought regens basically replace a retired player in the game. Lets say Rivaldo retired - does someone equally as good as Rivaldo get regenerated or is it completely random?

They are completely random, but some of the player profiles are of people in real life. I have a friend who works for SI, and he is in the first batch of regens, so that regen has his name, height, weight, and other information such as supported team etc.

What a match this was. First knockout round in the Champions League, result of the first leg was 1-1. El Shaarawy got himself sent off in the 3rd minute but everything looked to be going my way when André Ayew scored two goals inside 30 minutes, pretty much the only chances I got when playing with only ten men. However, in the second half Lyon really stepped up their game and scored a two goals and it looked very much like game over, especially when my captain Papadopoulos got himself sent off as well in the 74th minute, forcing my team to play the rest of the match with only nine men. Lyon then scored their third goal, making it 3-4 on aggregate and as they had three away goals too, I needed to score at least two goals without conceding to qualify for the next round. I desperately switched my team mentality to overload and changed everyone's role to attack, leaving only a 19-year-old centre back in defense all by himself as I even pushed my full-backs more higher up the pitch and the other CB was already red carded.

In the final ten minutes of the match, the impossible happened with Cavani scoring two great wondergoals and Juan Mata then finishing them off with a goal from my own half after their keeper was up in my box for a set-piece. Probably the greatest FM match I've ever played.
