When Mata was sold, I signed up for Redcafe and told them that Mata was the wrong buy for them and even Kroos was as well.

I told them they would go into recession like Liverpool did and all united fans kept saying was this was united, not chelsea. We don't buy to win nonsense. Players want to come to United, etc, etc...Juan mata was chelsea 2x player of the year, chelsea messed up, etc, etc...Matic is overated ..

Hull are up there for me, phenomenal transfer window from them.

Yeah very good business.

I do have to say one player that have caught my eyes is Federico Fazio to Spurs.

I rated him highly at la Liga, and Pochetino got himself a great player.

Let's see how well he fits into the PL, cause that's another thing as wellll.

Fazio is a good buy, but then again I said that about Capoue.

Yeah some of those buys is best to judge them this second season. Don't have crazy villa boas around anymore and the players should be more adapt to the league.

I think Spurs might be a tough team this season despite them getting thrashed by Liverpool.

Costa will surely relish having Fazio back

lol at United supporters criticizing us during the last 10 years saying we were just buying players like they were toys, throwing them when we don't need anymore,ect... Look at the way they treat RvP now FFS. Never seen a dramatic change like that.

Something funny is now we are the club which want to have a Manager for the long-term, which won't invest in the transfer window heavily (the occasional touch yes) but put more faith in youth. We have the stable squad now, we'll be able to integrate youth as soon as next year but United on the contrary still have to spend to revamp their squad and their youth aren't now in the equation.

Well I certainly expected that result on Sunday. The media seem to have developed amnesia over the summer when it comes to Spurs. Their squad is crammed full of average players and they've done nowhere near enough this window to cure that. Some of their players are so bad they make Eriksen look good. Put him in the Chelsea team and... well you just wouldn't.

Spurs V Liverpool is an absolute no contest on paper and this time it turned out that way on grass too.
