His current release clause is set at 40m€ but he is in talks of signing a new contract with a lowered release clause of 25€ so no need of player pus cash deals.

It is a common practice in Spain.Rakitic in the summer will just have a year left on his contract so as time passes Seville will have less leverage and no team will pay the 40m release clause.If he signs the new contract then Seville make sure that he does not leave on a cut price deal in the future and Rakitic also knows that he can move whenever he wants because of the lowered release clause(20m pounds is pretty reasonable for a player of his quality).Win-win for both parties.

We already own half of Markovic so it wouldn't be too difficult. Better than letting the Spurs or Liverpool get him. Would Mouinho play him as a striker, we already have Schurrle?

I'm still sure we need to scoop up Mateo Kovacic, he's not the finished product yet but to have him playing behind hazard would be something to watch. He did really well against the Spurs last year so they're watching for sure and apparently Liverpool are interested with an 8m bid. I like diamonds in the rough and this one has tremendous potential.

Dont forget Bale was left winger too, but he converted himself in RW pretty well. Think Reus is intelligent and skillful enough to turn into RW. Not to forget, he already was playing RW several times and constantly changes wings in bvb.

If not Reus then Vela, Di Maria, Lucas,...

Imo Vela despite Arsenal history would be realy good bet, he can score, assist, dribble, and looks he got mature in spain.

What Mou should look besides striker, cm and lb is AM who can score goals.

Not Lucas. Vela is a beast, I've seen him a ton and he is the real deal. Surprised there's not more rumors about him moving. He can also play CF. But I WANT COSTA!!!!

Why not both Costa and Vela

With all the possible sales including Luiz and Lukaku who might leave, we will have more than enough money to get four players in summer (LB, CM, ST and possibly AM)

Im curious what would you prefer more; Luis Suarez (lets just pretend we splash 80mio) and average CM/LB or quality striker, quality CM and quality LB (but none of them world class)?

I think we seriously lack a world class player, prefer striker position.

i personally would prefer a quality ST, quality CM and a quality LB.
