To be honest there is a load of users on the official chelsea website chat saying they saw it and he definitely said a major signing is imminent, possibly tonight.

Yeah was watching it live - something alone the lines of 'Chelsea are on the brink of a big name signing, possibly tonight' without revealing anything else. But there's been no mention of it on Sky Sports News now. Maybe Jim White was just trolling, but surely not?

Because he's part of Sky Sports News, which is one of the most reliable sources for football transfers.

Sky are usually pretty good with transfers. If sky says something then it is often true.
