Blues boss demands players must acknowledge dugout after goals.

Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has ordered his players to include him in their goal celebrations, a club spokesperson has confirmed.

The news is the latest twist regarding the Portuguese, who in midweek launched a scathing attack on the media for a perceived agenda against his team.

Villas-Boasspacer.gif has come under pressure after falling 10 points behind Premier League leaders Manchester City, spacer.gif who they host at Stamford Bridge on Monday.

And now it has been revealed the 34-year-old has told his players they must acknowledge him and his staff when they celebrate. A Chelseaspacer.gif spokesperson said

in The Sun: "The manager has asked the players to look across and recognise him and his staff on the bench after a goal. "He believes that by celebrating together

it shows we are all in it together. "That's the players, the manager, the subs, the staff, the medical people - everyone working and celebrating together."

No. This was misinterpreted..

AVB has NOT instructed players to include him in celebrations. He has said if players look to the bench they will see everyone celebrating.

AVB trying to create an inclusive team spirit. But he is not telling people how to celebrate goals - that would be ridiculous, wouldn't it?

Your right would be, but still if you look deeper there is some kind of control behind it.

Is this so wrong?

We've complained how players rode on Carlo, Scolari etc. It's about time a manager took a firm grip on this squad.. He's not controlling their celebration, this is silly. He's said to the world, his players & staff celebrate as one unit. There is no division.

The media in this country is useless. When they could be asking Sir Red Nose whether his team is "struggling" in Europe (lol, to be fair I reckon they will be doing just fine on chanel 5) for comical value, they make up crap instead. This is just bizarre, why would someone force someone else to celebrate in a way? It's a rush of emotion and would be really stupid to control it, as long as it's not abusive or vulgar.

They can celebrate after the game. These are individual human beings and should be allowed to celebrate how they want!

Am i the only one taking this AVB and Luiz targetting as a compliment?

Think of it this way. Rooney's miss helped dump United on Channel 5, United and a £1bn City squad got dumped out of the CL, Suarez's middle finger palaver has vanished from thin air. Instead of making a big deal out of any of those stories they are instead focusing their efforts and intentions on (trying to) make a fool out of AVB.

Why are they doing this? because AVB get's under their skin. They have been use to Carlo and a lesser extent Hiddink (no offense) being the nice guy's and letting them spite their bitter bile, they can't handle the fact we now have a gaffer who will give it back to them as good as he gets, they also can't handle the fact we have one of the best young manager's around who has made top signing's and is looking to build a legacy.

Same with Luiz, why does he get god knows how much stick for being occasionaly rash while the likes of Vidic and Carragher get branded world beaters for the same thing? they know he could become a great and if he signed for Liverpool they would be going on about it but because he plays for Chelsea they are doing everything in their power t prevent it.

Personally i take this as a compliment and laugh that they have to resort to such desperate mesures.

A different angle to look at it, but you do have a point.

I'm really pleased though to see AVB stick out for his players and club.
