Dissecting the loss to Arsenal Part I and II

As promised, here are two more links from my blog. Both deal with the 3-5 loss to Arsenal.

The first argues that Chelsea's attack should share the blame for the loss because of the miss chances, especially in the first half.

The second deals with the defense. Was it the high defensive line's fault that we conceded all these goals or was it simply because of individual errors? I see the latter as the main culprit for the loss.

Excellent work. But you should be careful, you're spoiling us with all those great articles! :P

I must agree with your thought-through opinions, but don't you think that 3 goals should've been enough to win the game?

I do think so. That's why I wrote in one of the post: "But the bottom line is: You should win every single game in which you score three goals." It's in the Individual Errors post.

Nice stuff...I think the main point is the Bosingwa is a walking hole in defence and his crosses

aren't that good either, he must sit on the bench...

And Cech? Has his bad moments

It was just ridiculous, every Arsenal attack (almost) became a goal
