£15m. And as soon as he signs, his value will immediately increase to let’s say £25m/£30m. If he had 2 years left on his contract he’d be costing us about £40m at least from Everton imo.

You are right but just the thought of paying 17 mil for a 6 months contract is nuts.

That seriously nothing in todays market. This transfer could prove to be a steal in times to come.

Must be said he hits the ball pretty nicely compared to that fraud Bakayoko.

It’s quite funny, the Lampard comparisons. Lampard’s signing at the time (at a very similar stage in their careers actually) had divided a lot of Chelsea fans as well. Lampard was a talent at that time too. Then prime Jose Mourinho helped him become one of the best in the planet.

If Barkley offers the same hard work and commitment (Conte’s favourite words) that Lampard did, he’ll at the very least be on the right path to becoming a player worthy of starting here.

Very well said!

With him so good at creating chances last season and at least able to ind the goal without need of GPS then I reckon we give the lad a shot Its obvious the Don believes in Baks with all the time hes giving him. So lets see if Barkley gets some chances when hes thought fit enough to play in the side.

If it doesnt work, we can easily add another midfilder of high quality and ship Barkley on loan and sell him for profit.

...

Bottom line we can sign another Vidal/Seri/Savic anytime if we want.

...

You sure about that?

One thing is for sure - he will provide us with more goals than Fabregas or Willian.

Been on another Everton forum, we are now 'Their most hated rival' we are 'scum' and they hate us more than Liverpool:lol:

Shoplifting cunts

Seeing this narrative that we robbed them off £20m because we waited with Barkley till after his injury to sign him. Pathetic.

We really should be playing Drinky alongside him, to provide us to somewhat decent long passes from the deep.

Moses - Kante - Drinky - Alonso

-------------- Barkley -----------------

--------------------Hazard-------------

-------------Torres---------------------

(when you see it, you'll shit bricks // joke)

Would Everton still have been entitled to some compensation for him if he left at the end of his contract to another English team.

If so, £15m may not have been far off what they could have argued at a tribunal given we're trying to get around half that for Solanke.

You have to think that this is a really big step for the lad too.

Hes been with Everton since he was 11 ffs.So theres got to be some emotions going on in him.

I know there are with Evertonians. Fuck me they're sagging him off. They must really like him or otherwise they wouldn't give a toss.
